Lmu Physik Learning Agreement

Erasmus+ students receive their learning agreement from their home university. All other exchange students can download the learning agreement from the LMU website. You will also find more information about the learning agreement. The learning agreement can be amended at a later date. Every Erasmus+ exchange student must conclude a learning agreement. This agreement defines the courses you will take abroad and which of them can be recognized later during your physics studies at the LMU. In this agreement, you must indicate whether you wish to participate in the LMU during your studies. If the list of courses is not yet available at the time of completing the agreement, we advise you to choose from the courses offered in the previous year or semester. At the Faculty of Physics, we also accept applicants from universities without any special agreement with our faculty or the LMU Munich. In this case, please contact our exchange coordinator. If you wish to attend an exchange with our faculty, your home university should have a cooperation agreement with the LMU.

Check our Erasmus+ Partner Table to find out if your home university is one of our Eramus+ partners or contact the people who are competent for studying abroad at your home university. Step 3: Email a list of courses to fachstudienberatung@physik.uni-muenchen.de. Please add web links to the appropriate course description for each course you have chosen. It is only on the basis of such a course description that the technical study council can estimate whether the training is recognizable a posteriori for your physics studies at the LMU. The Specialized Studies Council reviews your suggestions and keeps you informed. If the course directory is not yet available at the time of the learning agreement requirement by your home university, we recommend that you choose courses from the course directory of the previous year or semester. Also check out the information for Erasmus+ and LMUexchange students on the faculty`s websites. Note: You do not need to log in to access this page – just click on “Course Directory” on the left side of the page. You will find a number of English instructions for navigating the course directory in Course Selection.

The program is based on agreements between the Faculty of Physics and the faculties of the partner universities. Perhaps you would like to know more about the Faculty of Physics` agreements with other universities: check out our table of partner universities to review your potential goals under the Erasmus+ programme. The submission of a learning agreement is mandatory for Erasmus+ students. To help us identify the objectives of the studies, we ask LMUexchange students to also fill in the learning agreement integrated into the application form: you are not automatically enrolled in the courses with the sending of the learning agreement. Step 4: Fill out the full form – Table A and B. Send the completed pdf form again by email to fachstudienberatung@physik.uni-muenchen.de. Erasmus students who do not intend to take 100% of their courses in an LMU department must choose at least 50% of their course modules in the field with which their home university has a bilateral Erasmus agreement. LMUexchange students must select at least 50% of their course modules in a single department. Erasmus+ is an educational programme set up by the European Union that allows students to spend part of their studies at another university or organisation in Europe. As a rule, courses begin during the winter semester in mid-October and end in mid-February.

During the summer semester, classes begin in April and end at the end of July. You can find the course hours for the next five semesters in the LMU study calendar. Whenever master`s students successfully attend a lecture, seminar or laboratory event, they receive certificates for the documentation of their results (so-called “tickets”). . . .
